برندگان جوایز British Independent Film: پیشتازی فیلم Aftersun
«افترسان» برنده جایزه بهترین «فیلم مستقل بریتانیا» شد.
در شبی تاریخی برای زنان فیلمساز، ۱۰ جایزه در مراسم «فیلم مستقل بریتانیا» (British Independent Film) به کارگردانان زن یا فیلمهای آنها اهدا شد. «افتر سان» (Aftersun) به کارگردانی «شارلوت ولز» در بخشهای بهترین فیلم مستقل بریتانیایی، بهترین کارگردانی، بهترین فیلمنامه و بهترین فیلم اول برنده جایزه شد. این فیلم جوایز دیگری در بخشهای بهترین فیلمبرداری، بهترین تدوین و بهترین موسیقی را نیز دریافت کرده است.
فیلم «جین آبی» (Blue Jean) به کارگردانی «جرجیا اوکلی» نیز در بخشهای بهترین بازیگر نقش اول برای «روزی مکیوون» و بهترین فیلمنامه اول برای اوکلی برنده این جایزه شد در حالی که فیلم «بدترین آدم دنیا» (The Worst Person in the World) در رقابت با «تصمیم جدایی» و «همهچیز همهجا» جایزه بهترین فیلم مستقل بینالمللی را دریافت کرد.
