بهترین‌های سینما و تلویزیون در سال ۲۰۲۳ از نگاه نویسندگان آمریکا معرفی شدند.
برندگان جوایز «اتحادیه نویسندگان آمریکا» (WGA) پس از چند ماه تأخیر به دلیل اعتصابات هالیوود معرفی شدند. فیلم «جاماندگان» (The Holdovers) «الکساندر پین» و «داستان آمریکایی» (American Fiction) «کورد جفرسون» در بخش جوایز سینمایی به برتری رسیدند در حالی که در بخش تلویزیون سریال‌های «وراثت» (Succession) اچ‌بی‌او، «خرس» (The Bear) اف‌ایکس و «خصومت» (Beef) برنده جایزه شدند.
سریال «آخرین بازماندگان ما» (The Last of Us) در بخش بهترین سریال جدید برنده جایزه شده و «سیمپسون‌ها» (The Simpsons) یک بار دیگر در بخش بهترین سریال انیمیشن این جایزه را دریافت کرده است.
